A GIFT OVERDUE
Life is pretty much like Pubg. This is when you get knocked out by multiple bullets of hardships, failures and heartbreaks, you need someone to reach out to you and revive you back to life.
As luck would have it, My life is full of such people. However, some of them definitely stand out brighter than others. Here’s to my gratitude letters to the most deserving “Revivers” of my life.

- To my Best Cousin
She’s been my greatest support and therapist since i was a kid. We’ve shared a lot of good and bad memories. All thanks to her counselling, I am able cope up with my hardships (she’s a professional psychologist now :D ) I never got a chance to thank her enough and guess what she replied when she got this letter
“Yaar tum suicide to nahi karny lagi, what is this behavior pooja? And btw you know that I love you too” lol.
This is the level of our comfort zone. Literally so easy with everything.

- To my Oldest BFF Anam
18 years and still counting :’)
We’ve shared tons of laughter together in school & college. We used to be the crime partners everybody was jealous of. So many memories together.
She never fails to make me happy, even in my gloomiest days.
Thanking her for making all those days memorable and being there for me always.

- To the Cutest Creature on Earth, My Panda
“I love you too but yar Banda sath chocolates hi bhejwa deta hy”
This was her typical reply when she got the letter.
My life would’ve been miserable without her. All our bachelors time, she’d been dealing with my moods swings and depression. Thanks to her positive vibes.
No words can describe the bond we share now!
P.s I sent her chocolates later :D

- To the Turning Point of My Life — Salvatore
This gratitude letter should better be sent to his parents, for raising such a modest guy.
He reached out to me when i was literally suicidal and got me believe in life again.
No words can explain the feeling of gratitude you have towards these people, but sometimes a little effort like writing these cute letters, can manage to make them smile.
Acknowledgement is a gift, for sure. Thank you Amal Academy for providing this opportunity!
